Thanks Guys for the comments,
Si unfortunately I start back on that Thursday , so wont be around , but if you want I will pm you the best places to go
As for the 40D, wow what a camera, still plenty to learn about it and looking forward to the better weather and some trips abroad

Woody , just cant resist a good 757 you should know that by now

Stu, Ive warned the border patrol that you were thinking about coming up here , and they promised me they will get you the next time:p :p , and I have cleaned out the bin shed for you this time , not going to disturb the cats for you :diablo:

Gerry , Cheers mate , cost me a fortune for that snow , and the promised me it would last for about five day , so im going back to shop to complain:dev2:

Verrrrry nice… 🙂

Where did you get that snow from?

There’s a nice snow shop nearby where you can get all your snow needs at reasonable prices. The staff are a bit cold though.

Hey up matey.
About time you started posting again. Thought you had forgotten which way to hold the camera!!! Were you still holding the instruction book in one hand whilst photographing with the other??. That would explain the camera shake.
Nah seriously though, it looks as though you have got a good buy there -very impressive. The snow background really sets them off. Great to see some more posted from you. Rab says I have got to come up there again to annoy you – cannot for the life of me think what he means. Hope to meet up again shortly.
Keep practising
Cheers
Stu

Nice ones! I like snow shots. EZY one is great, and also the BA 757 (Kev, it’s your trademark…. always manage to get some great BA 757 shots).

Kev,
First and last shots are very nice indeed, great colours and background…are you sure it’s GLA and not Innsbruck? I have had a 40D since Xmas and still not used it in anger….so used to my 400D. How are you getting on with the 40D, is it living up to your expectations? I have just had an aborad trip cancelled so, if there are any GLA/EDI lads around next week (Thursday) I am up in Faslane for a meeting and intend spending a few our out and about around the airport before heading back to Bristol…would love to meet up?

All the best

Si

Well done 🙂

Rob, It was A bit warmer than it was in the morning ,Not Much , well my fingers never turned blue getting this bunch, think it was mostly down to the wind chill

Flcriminal:
All shots apart from the Emirates were taken with a canon 100-400 is L series lens and the Emirates the canon 70-300 is lens
