It certainly looks better, thanks for the that! Still waiting on the Firmware update from Canon, which is supposed to solve this problem on the 400D’s, thanks for the comments.

A fine set there, Jamie.
I took the liberty of having a fiddle in photoshop with one, simply by lightening shadows and a touch of fiddle with the saturation came up with:

Unfortunate thing is it can look over processed
TBH, i feel you can’t do too much to an image that is shot in poor lighting anyway.
Am sure there are some real officionados of the art that can give you good pointers.
