Glasgow and Prestwick 9th & 10th July

Just a handful of shots from the Kodak digi over the last couple of days.
Priority was to shoot stuff on slides but with more common stuff and when the wx was naff I played with the digi. As you do.

This first one was because I liked the clouds. Standing by the wee dam near me in Houston …. saw this First Choice going out so I snapped it with the nice clouds. That was Sunday evening.

Monday at PIK for the AN225. Took a few. The departure I shot on slides
so they’re not here.

One of the Lingus trainer doing touch & goes with the AN225 behind.

And here’s the brute after guzzling a large amount of BP.
“Thank you sir. If you just wait here we’ll bring your Bonus Points round in the transit van.”

Up at GLA. Managed a decent shot of the ex Titan 146 setting down.

Army Gazelle XZ345 heading off to Campbeltown.

And the only one of the Thai Royal Flight 737 I got with the digi. The rest I shot on slides.

Well, the ΠœΡ€ΠΈΡ holds 300,000 Kg of fuel. Find out how much one of the big bowsers at PIK holds. Someone down there could probably ask the fuelers.

It would be nice to be able to crop the First Choice a bit but it wouldn’t work without the quality deteriorating. My digi is 5 MP so any more cropping and it would look like a teabag. The whole pic is about the cloud anyway with the 757 just a passing feature. Agreed though, a bit more of a crop would be good too IF achievable.

Woody.

Excellent pics. Thai is nice but my favourite is the 757 + clouds.

Yeah it’s the kind of shot that ought to be in their brochure! πŸ˜€

Woody,
The Thai Air Force 737, now that is a catch! The Myria, it just shows the scale not only in shear size but fuel capacity, I wonder how many bowsers it would take to top her up? Oh and I do like the first….First Choice shot, if it was cropped a little and sharpended, that would be pretty awesome.

Well done

Si
