Kriss: if you were coming down you would get a train to Glasgow then change to Paisley Gilmour Street, you could walk in 10 mins or get a bus from the train station.
I reckon that PIK will be busier of the 2…more room to dump heavies around. If you wanted to go to PIK again train to Glasgow and change to train to Prestwick..the station is at the airport.
Gonna get up early and try catch the first 2 lumps arriving.

it makes sence to do that but how do they get there aircraft to Glasgow or Prestwick.
OK so they will have aircraft in the states stranded.
But will they have enough to do anything other than a token offering.

Should have said Paul.. it is aircraft coming from the states that are already there. Not just Glasgow BA102 from Calgary a 767 is due at Aberdeen!!! Long bus ride that!

There will probably be long waits, so i’m not sure.
There is quite a few heavies parked up at GLA.
Turns out that most flights to and from Scottish and N.Ireland flights will be open for business at 7pm tonight.

I’ve been tracking most of the flights going into glasgow just today, theres two Iceland air 757’s going in, TF-FIV and TF-FIX which is a 753. Should be on final any second now. The transatlantic flights going into glasgow, will probably have to fly at a lower flight level.

Wish i could make it on saturday. D;

It just so happens I am in Glasgow this weekend for a family party , so I could make it ,if it is worth while.

A shame that the strike didn’t coincide with this distruption. 😀
