Can anyone confirm that the following member of the Glider Pilot Regiment served at Arnhem:
2090474 S/SGT. J. ROBERTSON. GLIDER P. REGT.
Any help or suggestions as how I might confirm his participation would be gratefully received.

I’m a member of the GPRA and have lord knows how many reference books and lists at home. If you can give me 48 hours (I’m an ocean away at the moment) I can do some checking for you.
I’ll PM you the address of the editor of the GPRA magazine and if you write a short letter asking for info they’ll likely post it in the next issue.
The website given isn’t the official GPRA site, just the personal one of one of the members.

It would seem that this may well be the individual but I would like to try and confirm his service number. I am unsure of how to go about this. If anyone has any ideas I would like to hear from them!

In the book Glider Pilots at Arnhem ISBN 184415763-6 by Mike Peters & Luuk Buist, a S/Sgt Robertson is mentioned. They seem to have no further details of him.
