I imagine Globespan are (admirably) continuing their efforts to be a real and credible player in terms of direct European connections tailored to to the peculiarities of the Scottish market. I respect them for responding to the CSA announcement so swiftly. As much as I appreciate the CSA route, there’s nowt like competition to encourage further direct route investment.

Supply and demand will as ever decide what happens.

You might have a point there. Can’t be that many scots wanting to go to prague.

Or that many from Prague who have the disposable income
to visit Scotland.

Ok, Prague is an attractive City Break, more importantly,
CSA are offering onward connections that make PRG
a viable hub.

I very much doubt there will be a take-up currently enjoyed from EDI.

I sense over capacity, if this set-up remains then it will effectively be 3 times daily next summer from GLA! Plus twice daily on most days at EDI in the summer.
Hmm, we’ll see but I can see this ‘war’ ending in tears.
I hope to be porven wrong.
