Glorius afternoon at Birmingham

While on my way back from the airport job centre I decided to stop in on Sheldon Country Park right next to Marston Green rail station, this brings you to the 15 threshold and they do come in rather low while on short final.

There were quite a few people around just having a picnic, cycling or anything, really relaxed atmosphere :). Anyway here’s a short selection from the afternoon….

Was lying in the grass getting a tan at this point as ZB’s newest A321 glides over only a few feet above 😎 .

Thanks again for the comments, well LGW has three daily EK flights one of which is a scheduled A330. Depends which flight you are talking about?

Great shot there from BHX.

Off topic: But I have noticed that Emirates are flying there A330 into LGW I thought they flew there 777 into LGW.

Excellent shots Tom! I never knew there was a four wheel drive off-road option for the B757! 😀

Fantastic shots mate!
Glad you made it down the other side of the airport, looks very different doesn’t it 😀
