Gloster Meteor T7 For Sale

I hope that the MODS dont mind me placing this thread. If so please feel free to remove. I hoped a sale would be found with one of the forum members rather than going through ebay and not knowing where’s she would end up.

With the prospect of new and exciting projects looming on the horizon I have decided that its now time to let go of my Gloster Meteor T7 WL405.

The aircraft is in excellent condition having never been outside for any length of time. Those who have seen her whilst visiting Brunty will agree that she is a clean corrosion free airframe. The aircraft would upon assembly be a hybrid T7 and end up looking like the Martin Baker examples still flying. The original rear fuselage was scrapped many years ago so the rear fuselage now with the airframe is an F8 section. The rear section is fresh out of a packing crate and has never been attached to an airframe before.

Pretty much everything is there to make a complete looking airframe except she is missing main gear legs along with the nacelle fronts and x1 rear. I have a number of sources confirmed for these missing components and can pass your details onto those people who have offered to supply these missing parts.

Pictures of the aircraft taken late last year and earlier in this year can be seen on the below links

This list includes but is not exhaustive

Large number of Meteor T7 manuals saved on PDF which I would pass onto the buyer.

No leads on a gear leg, sorry. But question; Any one know where WL405 is now? Seems like a good return to fly project!

Hi
I realise this email is a bit after the original posting. Additionally, this email concerns the first and last message. I do a little re. the Meteor TT20 / NF11 that is in New Zealand. The left main u/c leg of this example is cracked. Do you know where we could find an uncracked example for the higher gross weight NF11 / TT20?
Regards
Mark

I have a friend in New Zealand that I’m sure would be interested and have asked him to contact you.
