RE: France and BELGIUM!!!!!!!
Today we have made our reservations and have decided what to do. We decided to go to Iran, but my girlfriend wouldn´t enjoy fifty degrees under her chador and I am not particularly amused to fly Iran Air. Uzbekistan fully booked, so we have decided for a Cruise along the Volge from Moscow to St Petersburg. We will be flying Lufthansa. Nothing particularly risky.

France and BELGIUM!!!!!!!
On the last Sunday in June I’m off to Paris for four days, also visiting Lille. On 3rd September I shall be going to Brugge in Belgium for 9 days and seeing as much as the country as I can. For the France holiday I shall be flying with Air France between MAN and CDG and for the Belgium trip I shall be flying with VLM from London City to Brussels.

Nope,
Once up on a day, I was standing with some friends of mine in a bar in Utrecht. I was talking about a holiday home in the south of france, near Perpignan, where I used to come when I was little and how one day I would ride my bike to it. And someone was stupid enough to come along and now where attemting to ride the 1.300km to it within two weeks then a week of well earened rest and the past the Peranies to Barcelona and the fly home :-).
sounds creazy……..
…….well it is, but I’m going to do it anywhy.

RE: Going On Holiday?
My parents are leaving it a bit late this year, but they’ve never let me down in the past, so there’s no reason why they should do so this year!
I think after our Caribbean/Central America cruise back in March, doing another one is out of the question. I found being surrounded by just sky and sea not in the least appealing and when I’m on holiday I tend to drink quite a bit which I very rarely do (if ever) when I’m at home. Alcohol and wobbly boats don’t quite go together!

RE: Going On Holiday?
We have a saying here: We are as odd as green dogs. We enjoy cultural destinations more than sun and palmtrees. Ubzbekistan is a romantic place, specially the stars of Samarkanda 🙂

RE: Going On Holiday?
Any of these or other. It depends on my girlfriend.
I think your girlfriend who rather go to Jamaica, Hawai or Guinea, but not to Uzbekistan. 🙂

RE: Going On Holiday?
I will be going to Melbourne and Tasmania for 5 days at the end of this month to see my fiancee.
My little brother graduates from University in late July, so we might spend a few days over in Amsterdam.
Over Christmas, I am supposed to be meeting my parents in Cape Town if I can wrangle some time off work!
And tomorrow (England v. Argentina) I was very close to devloping a very infectious cold…(!)…until I realised that it is a public holiday here anyway! (Senior Race Day, for the TT Motor Bike race).
Hopefully I can get down to London for some R&R weekends this year too. The journey’s great – I never get tired of sitting in a window seat approaching LCY!
And then sometime in 2003 I will open my credit card statements!!!

RE: Going On Holiday?
haven´t decided anything. I have ideas. I love travelling and cruising. So any cruise or any tour to China, Iran, Uzbekistan, Rusia, Lybia, Guatemala or Mexico. Any of these or other. It depends on my girlfriend.

RE: Going On Holiday?
Well, having just come back from Florida (well, a couple of weeks ago now) I have no other plans at the moment. 🙁
This may change, I’m debating whether to buy a new camera or to go on a short holiday, not sure.

Still waiting … If I have enough money, I’d like to go to the States for a couple of weeks, somewhere in September (11th :-)).
