No chance without a new wing. On inspection a number of 1/4 inch holes were found drilled in the forward lower spar boom in the area of each undercarriage bay.

Any idea as to what the holes were for? Some Demilling process or something?

After Visting North Weald in September, what is the chance of the Thunderbirds Sceme T-33 being made air worthy as I seen it display at Duxford around 6 years ago.

No news of publication yet, but the engineer passenger got an award last week from GAPAN for bravery for returning to the blazing wreck and rescuing the incapacitated pilot, after he himself had managed to smash the rear portion of the canopy and escape. A very brave man.

She crashed on take off from DX thankfully both crew got out quite amazing when you see the photos of the wreckage.

On there site they just say Golden Apple are currently investigating the purchase of a replacement T-33http: Last update was in September 2007 so hope there be one soon.
