Had a good afternoon at EMA today, first a Nimrod MR.2 whizzing around and then a Tornado F.3 giving a display at Donington race track, plenty noisy with a nice burner climb-out to finish with.
Being a military aviation fan first and foremost it was a welcome change the to the seemingly endless procession of those dull looking Fokkers, Air Contractors 727 departure was also a highlight, love seeing these noisy old buggers!

Not a bad day today either, apparently there was another Virgin A340 doing circuits but I missed it!
Something interesting for once, all we can look forward to through the winter is 737’s galore, with baby, Go and easyjet!
