Personally speaking as a Professional Executive Head Chef the food is absoloutly DISGUSTING as is most of the place its a great shame but I dont think thay will be changing things in the near future
The Romper Pub near the AVP looks much better but unfortunatly the food is just DING DING Catering (Microwavable Rubbish)

Anyway where have I put my Camera !!

I met FlyMonarch there for some lunch a while back (my first visit after taxiing past it hundreds of times) and what a dump it is!

was about to write the same thing, LOL
it does have a great chance to be something special for spotters, the food not much to talk about, its not even tipical pub food!

quite nice when you do get to see aircraft there, i have been a few times and never see aircraft taxi past, even at work, i always seem to use 2nd runway!

Bright sunshine against an angry sky is one of the best ways to photograph anything in my opinion.
The AA 767 looks like one of their “newer” aircraft, I remember doing a walkround on one in bright sunshine once. It actualy hurt the eyes to look at it!
BTW the Emirates 777’s are having some interesting push backs at the moment due to some up coming “Road works” in front of T2. To day for example it was pushed back, tail first into the cul-de-sac. The car park gang would have got a good view of the rudder static wicks!
