The former Spence family Swordfish arrived today in Gatineau. On hand were a number of excited staff, happy volunteers and a few thrilled veterans seeing a Stringbag for the first time in many years.
The fuselage arrived shrink wrapped on a flat bed truck. Written on the plastic on the rear fuselage was a message to Mr. Potter from the Spence family. The message ended with “Don’t forget Ernie!”
The Vintage Wings staff are hoping for a first flight some time next summer.
