Not sure if it has already been mentioned or indeed if it is of any interest to anyone here but goodwood appears to have made it ticket entry only on sept 15th for the 75 anniversary battle of Britain day flypast, (they are expecting around 40 spitfires and hurricanes to take-off at 12.00) however if you go to the goodwood web page the tickets can be booked and paid for at £0.00 – probably considered freeloading on here so apologies to anyone that I may have inadvertently offended

I notice from their website that you need to check the website on the Sunday evening as if the weather is looking poor on the Tuesday then they are looking to fly the event on the Monday. I have my ticket and hope to fly in to Goodwood for the event.

Does anyone have a map of the routes that will be flown?

It probably has been covered already in past threads, but if you go to the official website for the event, they have lists of all of the Spitfires and Hurricanes that are scheduled to attend: http://www.battleofbritainday.co.uk/#!aircraft/c1vpn
With regard to the Hurricanes, F-AZXR and G-HITT had been on the schedule for a while, and obviously unlikely to attend, and it is nice to see that they have been replaced with G-CBOE and another of the BBMF’s Hurricanes, so the count still stands at 8. The current count on Spitfires scheduled stands at 35 (I think it was recently updated to remove MK912). Note that PL344/G-IXCC is on the list, which of course hasn’t been seen in the UK skies for a little while, having been based on the east coast of the US for the last few years.

Maximum of four tickets though. Free, of course.
Curses, someone will have to sit on the hill instead…

Looks to be part of the Revival meeting (as last few years), which I’m sure is sold out, unless you have several hundred £££ for the VIP package.
Edit: apologies: I note it’s 2 days after Revival and is indeed free to register.
