33* 42′ 13.77″ N and 112* 25′ 07.59″ Google Earth, a few miles north of Surprise, Arizona there is an equilateral triangle with side of 0.8 miles long and dissected by another line. Does not immediately look like a disused airfield, what is it?

Fantastic, thanks for that, shows the US has some history after all!

Here you go:

Look for Luke AAF.
They are airstrips. (At least, they were)
As for the houses, you still better not be drunk when you come back from your vaforite chain restaurant 😀

(And I wouldn’t like to live in a house that look like my neighbour’s… It could cause confusion when you’re not awake 😀 )
Not quite correct, I think there was a choice of three or four designs which would reduce the chance of error when deciding which forecourt to park on and don’t forget if your zapper doesn’t work, you are on the wrong forecourt!
As no one has solved the triangle puzzle, I will suggest that it is a UFO landing site or traffic signal as it is midway between Roswell and LAX and pointing towards LA.

But equilateral and with a fourth runway in the middle? Agree with you about the homes, my son in law lives in one. And the word is TRACT!:)
I humbly stand corrected, but I’m sure I’ll do that mistake again 😉 (And I wouldn’t like to live in a house that look like my neighbour’s… It could cause confusion when you’re not awake 😀 )

Looks like an old WW2 airfield to me. Don’t forget you have to create runways over there. Thereare no dry lakes, or green meadows in the area 😉
And from the trace on the ground, I would say it is currently used by dirt bike riders. On a side note, the track home builders went bananas in that area…
