Google to offer free gigabyte Email accounts

Anyone else see this in the news? I think it’s an April Fools Joke, but I can’t be certain. Anyone else? I mean, it wouldn’t surprise me if Google really had that many servers to offer.

I believe it is true. I also heard that there is a catch. You get the service but must agree that your emails can be screened to determine the general nature of your interests so that relevant (?) advertising can be directed at you.
