Since the European Athletics Championships are in progress here, I thought I would try to get some pix at Landvetter, to see if there was anything unusual about. Not much going on there, though, so I only got these two:
1. OE-LCO Austrian Arrows Bombardier CRJ-200ER
2. Czech Republic Tu-154M 1016 (no civil registration?)
Can anyone provide more details about the Czech? Government aircraft, perhaps?

The Tu154 is a Czech Govt machine, usually used as a VIP transport for Czech govt important folk. It’s code(reg) is 1016 (C/N is 96A-1016) formerly OK-BYZ,delivered on 14/12/96 and re-reg’d 1016 on 31/12/98 and is based at Prague Ruzny.

Papa Lima: That Tupolev is owned by Czech Air Force. Will not last forever. Check this:

Thanks, EK.
Incidentally, they were taken from the DHL car park at Landvetter, I drove all the way around the airport and couldn’t find a better spotting spot – there’s a lot of forest in the way and all nearby access roads are barred by locked gates. Great security!
Does anyone know of an accessible spotting spot for Landvetter (Gothenburg) at either end of the runway? If so, please tell!
