Does anyone have any info on these corvette designs?
Amaris site has no info yet and the only hints are from some vague press release…

Just reading in todays DID (Defence Industry Daily), that Bulgaria has just ordered 4 of the Gowind 200 vessels. This will be a big step forward for them and allow them now to retire their old Soviet Era vessels.

I also read in a magazine that now DCN also has a variant of the Gowind design called the Fastwind, which can reach speeds of 43 knots.
Looks like the MEKO CSL now has a competitor. Although I’m not too sure if the Gowind/Fastwind designs have the modularibility of the MEKO designs where it can change mission modules (like the LCS).

My first bet was the Millenium gun, but the shape doesn’t match.
OTOH this is a model, so perhaps it is a Millenium after all. 😉

Great pictures….keep them coming. Does anyone know the specs of these vessels? As to the guns……thats a 76mm Oto Melara and in the back I would guess it’s a 35mm Millenium gun CIWS.

Thanks a lot for the photos! 🙂
If you mean “FREMM variants” design wise, I would agree.
They look quite “stealthy”. Weapons fit seems (intentionally?) vague, but I suppose they would implement either Aster 15 or VL Mica for AD. Now, am I the only one to see retractable ASM hatches at the front?
Also, is that a decoy system either side of the rear superstructure?
The guns are not immediately recognisable but I’d guess a 76mm and a 40mm.
Nice designs overall.

Also, at this page you can see a tiny model, next to the Sawari one:

I think it is similar to the C1200/C1800 designs, but have no clue on details.
