Gr1 to F3 to Gr4??

With the introduction of the Typoon in a few years, the F3 is going to be out of a job. Is it possible for the F3 airframes to be modifyed into GR4’s?
This would give the RAF a massive increase in Strike capability, an extra 100 aircraft, but with a much smaller cost than buying new aircraft. This could be easily fed to the British public in light of September 11th.
