Before I spent the evening at Old Warden, I was at Duxford for the annual gathering of the Grace Spitfire supporters club. Here are a few images from the day.

Nice shots Darren.
Good to see all is well after the engine change and winter maintenance. 🙂
I read on the Grace Spitfire page that they have borrowed a spinner from “another operator whom we have known for many years”.
I also notice that the early type flared exhausts have been replaced with the later rounded type.
Cheers
Paul
The spinner was replaced as the old one was causing vibrations. I would assume the new exhaust stacks is due to the fact she has a new engine (but i’m only guessing that). She is a lovely aircraft, and long may she fly!

Having been quite taken by the Irish Air Corps scheme on PV202, I think it would be great if the Grace Spit could be painted in her IAC colours for a season or two! 😀
Whilst she of course has the modded cockpit, the site of two Spits in the air together with this scheme would be great.
Cheers
