Grafton Underwood 305th Bomb Group pics

Hey everybody I am looking for pics of B-17’s from the 305th bomb group. In particurly any pics of B-17F’s. I am building a model of a B-17F for my uncle in tribute of his father who just passed away. He was a door gunner with the 366th bomb sqdrn., 305th bomb group based out of Grafton Underwood. He is also a POW after having to bail out over Germany injured. If someone has B/W photo’s of B-17F’s from the 305th I would be grateful. 🙂

Hi Dog House

I actually have a few photographs of a 305th BG 366th BS B-17F – it’s 41-24592 / KY-G that landed in Switzerland on 6 September 1943 and was interned.

There have also been two B-17F of the 364th BS. Please PM me your e-mail and I’ll send you high-rez scans.

Go to the forum section and then to the various bomb groups. I searched for the 305 BG which worked better than 366 BS.
