Grand Champion

Now I have found this works (thanks for the advice all), here is a picture taken on Saturday of the Grand Champion warbird at Oshkosh. It is a very impressive restoration which my snap does not do justice to.

She is magnificent. I did not get to look in the cockpit but everything else on show was superbly crafted and very well finished and painted. The reserve Grand Champion, P-51 ‘Geraldine’ was also improved and looked great again but I think the judges preffered to go for a new restoration.

Great picture Mark V i’m so jealous,she sure looks worthy of Grand Champion,what a beasty 🙂 Can’t wait to see some more pictures 😀
