Here’s some more pics from KDCA taken from Gravelly Point Park, if anyone’s going and staying for a while make sure you take water and food as there’s nowhere at the park to buy these items and in spring/summer/autumn it can get very very hot and there’s not much shade.
The park is open from dawn until 10pm and is very safe.
The view is fantastic and the airport can get very very busy and there can be seen some interesting manouvers by aircraft as ATC try and optimise the use of the main runway –

Great shots, love the night ones especially. Thanks for the info on the park, I am staying at the Embassy Suites Crystal City so I “should” be able to just walk to the park from there…..I hope!
