I had a chat with Stephen just after he acquired TT & he told me he’d been after it for years as it’s a genuine DX veteran & that he’d keep it for that reason. It’d be a shame if he had sold it as that’s 1 less P-51 we have. :diablo:

Probably took the gloss of ownership off it when the original TT was formally recognised.

Perhaps because its the private business of the gentleman and companies concerned and doesn’t actually have anything to do with any of us who are not connected with the aeroplane concerned.

I’m sure all will be made public when those concerned wish it to be so.

Rememeber there is a new p40 to join the collection at some time in the future.

To be honest, i’m more excited about seeing the fleet back in the air.

Wix had it reported sold quite a while ago

rumours that a certain texas based plane nut has acquired Twilight tear.

I thought it was fairly common knowledge who currently owns TT.. afterall, it was reported sold months ago?

I think thats ‘Twilight Tear’ now. 😉
