Greek Rafale's ???

I was reading AFM, and I heard a snippet about serious Greek interest in the Dassault Rafale. More interesting than this has been the recent Greek spending spree. Maybe their internet stock came in ??? Block 50 F-16’s, more Apaches, Mirage 2000-5’s, T-45 Texan 2’s, and a contract for 60+ Typhoons. Where is all of this going ? Are they expecting an invasion ? Last I heard relations between them and Turkey wern’t great, but no where near war. They did an exchange in the early part of this year with each other. Who knows more about this ? Now I hear that they want the Rafale as well, up to 48 examples. This goes great for diversity, and technological capability. Maybe they should’nt put all of their eggs in one basket. If they want technology buy the Typhoons, and wait a few years until the JSF is available. What does the forum think ???
