I remember the plan was to “potentially” get it flying again a few years back.
Is it gonna be ARCo or BHHH doing the work?

Has anyone seen an animated image of this Spitfire on Facebook or do we have to be wary of “Greeks Bearing GiFs”
Like it, very clever!
It might even share workshop space with a Trojan!

They do come up on Abe Books…usually £500-£600 the pair.
I smile now, when I remember one prominent Spitfire owner, whose aircraft entry had a particularly strong in service photo coverage, said that they were too expensive at £75 and he would wait until they were remaindered on eBay. 🙂

These books are hard to get now.
I have Vol 1, but I waited too long, and missed out on Vol 2.
