Heres a few pics from todays visit to Krakow Air Museum

the ww1 aircraft were moved to krakow from the berlin tech museum to avoid damage during the bombing of the city during ww2,sadly the wings did not reach their destination.
the museum is on the site of an original aerodrome used by the polish,german,and russian airforces.the spitfire etc are housed in an origal pre war hanger.
this museum is outstanding as to have so many one off and rare aircraft and all the exhibits are very easily accessible.
i would recommend the trip out to krakow to anyone.

The control column is from an Il-2. other than that i cant tell you much other than the fact it was in their ‘archaeology’ display
