To use an old cliche, an end of an era in hollywood .
star of some great films, Guns of Navarone, Cape Fear and Spellbound but to name a few.
If his legacy was to be anything though it would have to be that fabulous speech in To Kill a Mocking Bird. Real groundbreaking.
