Hi – I’m new to the forum so please excuse any transgressions of etiquette. I’ve joined a local ATC squadron as a Civilian Instructor and am setting up a simulator for them. I want to prepare some courses which will help the cadets get the most out of their air experience flying by understanding as much as possible before they get to the AEF. WHat I’m looking for is the checks that are performed from pre-take off to landing. If anyone has anything they can share – it would be much appreciated.

Forgot..
Should have mentioned – Staffs Wing – 1046. (1290 when I was a cadet all those years ago)

Thanks
Thanks for the support. All of the stuff is useful, and I really take the point about getting it right. Next time the Squadron gets any AEF, I’ve offered to go along. Nothing like the personal touch for scrounging. Thanks again

Not sure if this will help, but the Grob G-115 Tutor checklist is available here.
You’ll need to search under Grob and G-115 to get to it.
Obviously all the standard caveats apply about using it for flight etc.
Is there no way you can get/borrow a copy of the actual checks the local ATC squadron use? At the very least I’d get someone from there to go over anything you do decide to use.
Sorry if I’m teaching you to suck eggs, but it can be difficult to unlearn checks and procedures, especially if you’ve done them in a simulator!
Cheers
