Recently on the forums all we are hearing about has been the F-22 and how it will completely revolutionise air combat, but then again people were probably saying that a number of years ago when guided missiles were introduced with the f-4 etc. Therefore, a question, in history, which has been the ground breaking fighter that was the most insanely ahead of it’s time???. IMHO, I think that the intro of the German jets like the Me-262 and the Volksjager would take the prize, any thoughts??
