I thought Power Of Attorney could only be used to act on the persons best interest which in this case it is clearly not.

This seems to be a clear case of abuse of legal power and I should have thought the judge will pick up on this

The petition is irrelevant as this is a legal matter and petitions have no effect over the law.

Hopefully the judge will see sense but so often it’s mega bucks lawyers fightING their side for a win evEn on a technicality which clearly shows an injustice in the real world.

I hope the judge not only finds against her but also instructs the DA to look into criminal charges for the daughter.

If that were me Tony, I would sooner burn it down. Bit of a bummer, when you realise that all they wanted from the old guy was in essence his money, as no doubt the house would have been sold once she had got him evicted.
MONEY, it seems, that that is all that most folks think about these days.
I hope the old guy wins his case, if not, then crash and burn it down. I wouldn’t give her the satisfaction of winning her case.
