GSM GLA-HRG

G-CDEG departed GLA bound for Hurghada about 18:15 in some nice light coniditons. The nose is a tad soft but the only editing i have done was to crop and resize.

GSM = Globespan.
GCDEG went to HRG and GGSPN to PFO.

Here is G-GSPN going to PFO.

Mmmm, one of my mates who flys with GSM seemed to think otherwise. I’ll need to double check.

With the absence of fully functioning galleys on the new GSM configured 738’s, doubt there will be the standard MYT hot meal service.

GCDEG does have full Galley’s installed.

GSM are operating it for MYT, so it’s probably upto MYT what they feed the passengers?

Anyone know the ATC callsign for G-CDEG Will it be Delta Echo Golf or is it something else?

Cheers

I thought the 767’s were leaving the fleet for good anyway.

Yes, they usually go though MAN for pre-lease work so I already knew that. 🙂

I’m talking about Summer out-leases of aircraft that have been used for IT work in the past, which doesn’t make a lot of sense for a mainly charter operator.

Two of the MyTravel B767s have recently gone to Skyservice, for example.

What I mean is that there seems to be very little coherence in MyTravel’s forward planning at the moment.

It doesn’t bode very well for the future, IMHO.

And yet MyTravel feel able to lease A320s to Skyservice for the summer?

Something doesn’t add up here……

Well MYT and SkyService have an agreement, for instance the MYT A330 was working for SkyService recently I think. In the Winter season more MYT aircraft go over to Canada and operate flights there….I think.

Its a long trek with only a packet of Pringles on offer.

Great shot, interesting to see a lowco operating a destination on behalf of a tour op, maybe could happen more in the future.
