In S07 Canadian Affair will be using Air Transat for their Canadian flights. The Thomas Cook flights will still operate as a scheduled service, but on its own now with no tour operating backing, well apart from Thomas Cook.

Exactly. It would be quite a chore to get to Toronto as Hamilton is roughly 80 km away and not the prettiest place on the planet.

I fly to Canada (YYZ) twice a year, and have found that Thomas Cook is the best for comfort and service. all seats 35″ seat pitch! and very cheap! my last flight was £129 RTN booked through canadianaffair.com ( just play around with the booking system!)
When GSM start doing Hamilton, it will be good if you want to go to Niagara, but i find it’s all to much like Ryanair advertising i.e FRANKFURT (Hahn) = TORONTO (Hamilton) lol

Anyone tried GSM out yet ?

When i book it the flight will be GSM101/2.
Operated by GSM then, B763, 2-3-2 with IFE but no PTVs. The B763s are getting cabin re-fits with leather seats I believe but not sure if that extends to economy, assuming that’s what class you are travelling in?

Yes, Zoom does fly this route and AC in the summer months, but it may interest you to know that after the US, the UK is Canada’s largest travel destination, so there is high demand for service to UK cities and BA only serve London.

Are some of these flights not done by Zoom?
By: tommyinyork - 25th October 2006 at 15:32
Flying in Jan to Toronto Pearson.
Are these 767-300s in a 2-4-2 or 2-3-2 layout and also is IFE provided.
One more question then i will shut up, are the seats leather ?

Depends when you are flying, I think it’s a 767 throughout the winter but them come May when they will operate daily to Toronto (Hamilton) it will be a 757.
