guess what this is

At a glance I’d say it’s a carburettor from a rather large aero engine, a Merlin perhaps? On second thoughts, not a carb but very likely part of the induction system of aforesaid aero engine.

It’s the mechanism under any keyboard’s CAPS LOCK button. Seavixen176 has removed it to take a picture of it, but hasn’t put it back yet.
