Indonesia ended up choosing the T/A-50 for its trainer and light attack/fighter needs but at one point seriously considered the JL-9.
what would the technical advantages of the JL-9 be over the T-50?
lower acquisition costs?
what about life time costs since the JL-9 is using a turbojet?
