Gulf Air crash

Flash news on CNN say that a Gulf air A320 has crashed and 140+ people are feared dead.
Whats the rate of the A320 crashes?

It is a debateable point that the A320 has not been responsible in any of its accident.

Whatever the official verdicts the Habsheim and Strasbourg accidents left a great deal of doubt in many minds and Airbus did a lot of work on both software and hardware to ensure the aircraft was more pilot friendly

I don´t know, but I don´t think this would be relevant of the
explanation of the crash unless you consider the plane unsafe and use the rate to justify your point of view. In all crashes of the A320 the plane wasn´t responsible at all.
