Well gents (and ladies if there are any present), I had a fine afternoon at Tyndall Air Force Base where the Blue Angels were the main event.
There were a ton of good static displays and a ton of great stuff flying.
Everything flying from a T-6 to a T-33 to a MiG-17 to an F-16 to an F-4 to the mighty F-22 and of course the Blue Angels themselves put on a great show a usual.
In fact, for the Raptor buffs, this particular event was the first time the F-22 performed a public demonstration! WOW is all I can say…..! I’ve seen every single fighter/attack type in our inventory perform and the F-22 made them all pale in comparison……
I’m trying to figure out the best way to share my photos with you guys (I have a photobucket account I could use I guess…), and I’m in the process of trying to get them uploaded to airliners.net in the meantime. Long story short, I’ll get out the pics as soon as I can, and I think you guys will enjoy them.
In closing for now I must say that hearing the roar of a pair of J-79’s was music to my ears again! Nothing sounds a beautiful to me as a Phantom with the blowers running!
Anyways, just giving the heads up. Keep your eyes peeled!
