GULF WAR – carpet bombing

Hello gents,

I read the book ‘Every man a tiger’ by Chuck Horner and Tom Clancy.
In this Horner claims that B-52s intentionnely used bombs to make as less Iraqi casualities. for instance by using mk82s.
Strangly in the BBC-doc was said that most bombingraids by BUFFs missed their targets by navigationfailures.

Who is to believe ? And what is your opinion about the number of casualities made by carpetbombing ? hundreds, thousands or tenthousands of soldiers killed by the BUFF ?
