Gulf War II , 10 years after…

Hello all

Its been 10 years since the second Gulf War , and I was wondering what everybody thinks about it . I do not – of course – mean only in ‘political’ terms, but mainly in the changes it brought on the contigency plans of the worlds armed forces.It was the ‘testing ground’ for weapons, tactics and it also reminded everyone of the paramount importance of a less glamorous side of military planing : logistic support.

Of course there are some pretty interesting posts about it in other threads, just thought it would be a nice opportunity for a round up.
