According to the German publication Behoerden Spiegel hackers apparently took over command of a Patriot missile defense system

The magazine speculates about two weak spots in the missile system which could be exploited by hackers.
- One such weakness is the Sensor-Shooter-Interoperability (SSI) which exchanges real time information between the missile launcher and its control system.
[*]The second exposed point is a computer chip which controls the guidance of the weapon.
Is it possible that hackers can hack into a missile system?

it’s sure possible.
The thing is that how did the hackers got into the network in the first place ? did he/she using wires (tapping) or wireless method by gaining access through Patriot launcher’s wireless datalink antenna ?
