A big thankyou to Propstrike – who appeared at our house last night and made off with my chocolate cake! :diablo:
To be fair, in exchange he left these cracking pictures taken at the weekend of the Pushpak over the autumnal Oxford countryside.
Thanks again A, and to Dave for getting a Tobago to fly just soooo slow!
Thanks also to Jagan and TT for helping me unearth some more of its history too! As can be imagined, with only two examples in the UK, there’s not a lot of information about. If anyone has any added information on the type, particularly on any examples still flying in India, or elsewhere, please let me know!!!!

Hi,
Love these photos, to me this is what aviation is all about, a wonderful old aircraft, low autumn sunshine, and a birds-eye view of the glories of the English countryside.
Many thanks Steve.

Glad you liked them L&S, but it is a pity that so many are a bit ‘soft’ as we photographers like to say – can’t use the ‘out of f ‘ word !
The main issue was having to shoot through the optically irregular canopy of the Tobago, not to mention the ad hoc air combat which developed. We will do it from the Cub next time, which will be easier for everybody.

Nice shots of a lovely little aeroplane…
Thanks for the chance to have a nice close look at her on Friday.
