Sorry its taken a month to get around to this, but here are a selection of my photo’s taken at the Halfpenny Green open day on the 24th June.
A big thankyou to Will and the guys at Air Atlantique, along with everyone else involved in organising a different kind of event.
Not every day you can go steam train chasing in a classic aircraft !
I still wonder what the people on the trains thought while being repeatedly buzzed by the Devon and Rapide! :diablo:

Oh, I guess they must have laid runways, taxiways and hard standings when Wolverhampton Pendeford closed and it took over as Wolverhampton’s airpot?

Manston airport,
Its the Severn Valley Railway that runs from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster – we were towards the Bridgnorth end.
Oh yes I know that Steam Railway:) Cheers for info.

First Airshow I ever went to was at Halfpenny Green, back in the late 60’s – doesn’t seem to have changed much 😀
