Halifax G-AHZM lost off Belgium coast 1946, has it ever been located?

Whilst reading a book on the history of Elstree aerodrome I was intrigued by the mention of Halifax G-AHZN which was operated by LAMS on cargo runs, it was on a flight from Bergamo to Heathrow and is said to have ditched so possibly not too much damage at the time. Obviously the intervening years will have taken their toll………..Martin

Does anyone know what the Norwegian guy were doing aboard the airplane if not a crew member? Employee or just someone hitching a lift?

‘100yds offshore’ – was likely to have been destroyed by sea action within days I would have thought?

I seem to recall the wreck was pulled onto the beach shortly after and broken up for scrap. I have seen pictures somewhere, but am unable to find them.
