Hi All,
Just had 3 boxes of bits turn up at the museum which have come from HP Halifax HX238 which crashed in 1943, Has anyone here got any info as we have not a smigin of anything on this Halibag.
Anything info would be fantastic, squadron, crew, date of crash etc.
as in the words of Lloyd Grossman,, Its over to you.

Hi Colin,
It might be an idea to get in touch with the guys at HP57 Rescue,the group of enthusiasts who collect Halifax bits for trade or donation to various restorers.They’ve done an awful lot of parts hunting for the NA337 project over in Canada,to name just one project they’ve been involved with.

Thank you Paul,
As we were sorting through the boxes yesterday we could see the parts were not form an excavation and must of been removed by someone as the aircraft was scraped.
We have now got down to one box of bits for display and a box which is up for disposal to who ever may want it.
Any further info would be apriciated.

HX238 served with A&AEE and was struck of charge 13.7.45.
I can’t find any recorded accident to this aircraft in Air Britain’s Flight Test Accidents 1940 to 1971
