I can confirm NR174.
W/Cdr. Reid was the Squadron Commander from 7/3/45. He flew on that a/c 6x as a S/Ldr. and twice as a W/Cdr.
The last Op flown by the Squadron was on 25/4/45. As a W/Cdr. Reid flew to Harburg on 4/4/45 and Hamburg on 8/8/45
Cheers
Eddie

Hi David.
Details are a bit sketchy, but what I can tell you is that it was on ‘B’ flight, out of Lissett, about May 1945,and two of the crew, were Wg Cdr Reid,( C/O of ‘B’ flight.) who often flew as the rear gunner, and Flt Lt Laws, who was the pilot.

Hi Ken,
Could you please give the RAF serial number of the aircraft you’re referring to? Several Halifaxes have worn the codes NP-L.
Regards,
David
