Halifax in the sun…

Seeing as she’s outside for a few days for the first time in many years due to an event in the hangar, I thought I’d share some pics of the YAM Halifax basking in the sun this morning…

yes, “Home is the Halifax” by the late Ian Robinson MBE, published by Grubb Street. A very good read.

Or, as my copy is called, ‘The Unbeaten Warrior Returns’

Is a restoration to ground running condition possible, with all the new build/replicated components used in its construction?

No, it’s a cobbled together static hulk, albeit one that looks very impressive.

Thanks. I never cease to be amazed in Amazon that you can often get a new copy of a book cheaper than some of the secondhand prices asked.

It looks good. Is there a write-up anywhere available explaining the make-up of the airframe, Eg. Hastings, original, new-build and how it all goes together?

Lovely. It would be nice if alot more airframes were allowed out in the sun .

Looks great outdoors and beneficial to the airframe on a warm sunny day as well..
