Halifax item

I am conducting research on the history of aeroplane crashes during WWII in the region of Lozen/Bocholt (Belgium).

Last year I discovered, on a known crash place, some fragments and shell casings. I was told that this was from a Wellington of 57 Sqn, crashed on 16/07/1941. After cleaning the casings I discovered the years 1943 and 1944 embossed on the bottom of these casings……. So it never could be of the Wellington, but in the meanwhile I do know where this plane crashed.

Also I found an instrument dial (see attachment). Via the Internet I got the information that this could be a dial of a Halifax and definitely not from a Wellington!
