Halifax JD255 158 squadron

Hello
I am looking for about the plane Halifax JD255 and its Nav. Sgt W.E.RIDGE.It was shot down on 26/11/43 .
I would like to known any details like.

What did it crash ?
What mark was it ?
Any help you can give with my search will be much appreciate.

Halifax JD265 NP-G

Both Searle and Ridge were on the same aircraft as indicated by Peter. The crew were on their 2nd Operation when lost. They had joined 158 Sqn on 15/11/43 from No. 1658 Heavy Conversion Unit, Riccall. Vincent, the Pilot, had also flown one extra Op as a 2nd pilot

Op: Stuttgart.

Crew.
Sgt. R G. Vincent +
Sgt. J E. Searle +
Sgt. W E. Ridge +
Sgt. R. Hunter +
P/O. E G. Bradley +
Sgt. P C. Hagger +
Sgt. W R. Mead +

The aircraft took off from Lissett at 1652 hrs. Crashed 2300 hrs astride a house at Deidesheimer Strasse 57, Kafertal, in the northern suburbs of Mannheim. All were buried locally, since when their remains have been taken to Durnbach War Cemetery.

Hello Hali’s are a bit out of my league but I did find this info online?

Halifas JD255 was with 158 Sqn RAf then to 10 Sqn and last she was with 1658CU.

This site also has info on JD265 which may be the one your after??
