Halifax Model at Folk Museum at Hutton-le-Hole in North Yorkshire.

Apologies for the dual posting (in the video section and here) but I saw some nice words in reply to the original posting and wanted to widen this, apologies if this is “bad form” in any way, I hope you will agree that its worth seeing.

halifax model

this superb model was at elvington originally ,bernard jefferson who built it moved it to hutton some time ago .he also built a fully working tank for a private client ,i saw it working and it reallywas something else bernard also restored the rear turret on YAMs halifax ,moulding all the perspex in a vacum former hed constucted using a fridge cabinet ,bernard is one very clever talented and modest man .

It’s impressive isn’t it !?

I think its incredible Baz, so when will you put your Spits up in the air like this then ! 😀

The detail is fantastic, right down to the “Monica” (I think?) under the rear turret.
