Is anyone able to confirm whether this is indeed a Halifax item, as the part numbers seem to suggest?
Tube: – 57286E14-ISSA-743364
Sprocket: – 57286E16-789988
End Piece: – 57286E16 – Z68181
Circular Inspection Stamps: – indistinct but could be LTAF 40
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Michael

Hi Michael,
It is indeed from a Halifax (Mk.I), the LATF stamp indicates it was made by the London Aircraft Production Group, the E in the part no. indicates that it is part of the flying controls.
EDIT: There is a list of aircraft part numbers here.
Cheers,
Don
